Celebrating Amy Spychalla and Wayne Martin
June 22, 2026
As we close out the fiscal year, we take a moment to celebrate and thank two incredible ASB leaders as they retire: Amy Spychalla and Wayne Martin. Together, they represent years of dedication, leadership, and impact, much of it within ASB’s Strategic Operations Support (SOS) department.
Amy Spychalla
Amy is retiring after 23 years with ASB. She began her career as the Marketing and Promotions Specialist and most recently served as Vice President of Strategic Operations Support, leading both SOS and Vertical Markets teams.
Throughout her time at ASB, Amy has been known for her collaborative leadership style, positive attitude, and ability to bring teams together to solve challenges and drive continuous improvement. Her impact on both people and processes has helped strengthen the foundation of how we operate today.
“I am incredibly grateful for the many opportunities I’ve been given at ASB,” expressed Amy Spychalla. “It has never really felt like work—it’s been about building relationships and collaborating on some truly rewarding projects and programs along the way. We’ve grown by leaps and bounds in every area, but the one thing that has consistently remained the same is our culture. It’s always been about the people, and I treasure the many friendships I’ve formed throughout the years. While I’m excited to begin this new chapter of retirement, I’ll be cheering ASB on from the sidelines and celebrating its continued success.”

Wayne Martin
Wayne is retiring after 26 years with ASB, during which he served in a variety of leadership roles including Director of Vendor Relations, Vice President of Strategic Operations Support & Vertical Markets, and most recently Vice President of Sales – West Region.
Wayne’s career has been defined by his energy, enthusiasm, and relationship-driven leadership style. He played a key role in strengthening vendor and customer partnerships while contributing significantly to ASB’s growth and success across multiple areas of the business.
“Work hard, play hard, respect others and remember “Ice Cream” makes everything better,” says Wayne Martin.

Amy and Wayne leave behind a legacy of leadership, collaboration, and commitment that has helped shape ASB in meaningful ways. While they will be greatly missed, their influence will continue to be felt across the organization for years to come.
